About Us

Caring with Colour (CWC) is a nonprofit organization working towards improving the quality of education in Indian government schools through introducing experiential learning in classrooms.

While Indian education policies emphasize the role of experiential teaching-learning methods in schools, several studies have shown that teachers across the country still largely practice traditional learning methods.

CWC plans to bridge this gap in government schools, through training the teachers on experiential teaching learning methods, providing them with experiential teaching content they can use in their classrooms and by collaborating with various levels of the education department officials to create an enabling environment for teachers that will help them easily adopt experiential teaching methods in their classrooms.

Tribute to our beloved trustee

Vikram Kirloskar

Mr. Vikram Kirloskar served as the board member of Caring with Colour from 2017 till his passing in 2022. He was a staunch believer in education as a catalyst of socio-economic change in India. As someone who served on the educational councils of world’s top universities like MIT and Rhode Island school of design, Mr. Kirloskar strongly believed in the importance of inculcating 21st century skills to students in schools and passionately supported and guided the work Caring with Colour is doing. His wisdom and insights on various strategic issues at CWC were an immense asset to our fledgling organization. While we mourn the loss of his presence, we recommit ourselves to achieving the lofty goals he helped us envision as an organization.
